Ethics & Neutrality

The Committee on Judicial Ethics of the State Bar of Texas Judicial Section issues written judicial ethics opinions published by the Office of Court Administration.  To file a complaint against a municipal judge or magistrate, please fill out this form and submit it to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.  Access past editions of the Commission's annual reports of ethics findings below.

In response to recommendations from the Gender Bias Task Force, appointed by the Supreme Court of Texas to study gender bias in the Texas legal system, the following handbook was authorized as a guideline for handling race and gender issues by judges, attorneys, and court personnel.
